Dylan
Dylan is such a cutie. He just turned one year old. He was an early walker, and was running all over with no problems at all. Dylan was not shy when i showed up. In fact, the "problem" (if you can call it that) was that he was too close to the camera, wanting to show me things and say hello! This first photo was the actual first photo I took of Dylan.
Here's Dylan showing off his wonderful mom and dad. Doesn't he look proud? Or maybe that's sneaky... I don't quite know. But they are certainly proud and should be. What a great kid!
I'd love to come to your home to do a portrait of you and your family.
Call me to set up an appointment!

Jessica & Bryan
Jessica & Bryan were married on May 31st at The Taylor Grady House here in Athens. Jessica and Bryan are such a fun couple and their wedding fit them to a tee. Athens A-Train Band provided great music for lots of dancing. Marti's at Midday catered a fresh and tasty dinner.
Now a few photos:
I can honestly say that their exit was an original one. Jessica and Bryan rode away from the reception on their 'bicycle made for two.' It was the actual bike that Bryan used to ride in the baby seat of when he was a baby. I was impressed at Jessica's ability to ride in her wedding dress. It was a great end to a fun evening. Thanks Jessica and Bryan for letting me be a part of your wonderful day.

Cute Overload!
The Weavers are some of my very favorite friends. I am so excited that I got to spend an extra special day with them recently - the day they got their new puppy.
Gena works for Ted's Montana Grill, and they got their puppy from Ted Turner himself. He flew in on his private plane to deliver 6 of them!
I love that Gena's wearing her peace sign earrings, as the puppy's name is Hopi, which means "peaceful one."
I have a feeling this puppy is going to be carried around a lot. It's hard to put such a cutie down!
In case anyone was wondering, I did bring Grayce Mae along to meet the new puppy. Somehow I wasn't surprised when Grayce chose to root around in the dirt in a shady spot rather than playing in the sun. That's my girl! (She did meet and greet the Hopi first, but was ultimately more interested in just chilling out.)

Courtney & Philip
Courtney and Philip were married on May 17th at Young Harris Memorial United Methodist Church, which is only blocks from my house! It was my closest wedding ever.
The flower arrangements were done by Flowerland. Deborah does a fantastic job. She made the wraps for the flowers to match Courtney's dress.
Deborah made beautiful bouquets as well - Courtney's was especially elegant.
Courtney and her Dad, just before walking down the aisle. Look at their similar expressions!
One of my favorite shots - as usual - is the moment between the bride and groom right after they are announced as man and wife.
Courtney and Philip held their reception at Athen's Classic Center.
